For residential photovoltaics in Valais, the support is Federal Pronovo (CHF 350 – 700 / kWp). The canton of Valais does not pay a dedicated cantonal subsidy for residential photovoltaics. The main subsidy is the federal Pronovo One-Time Remuneration, guaranteed for any compliant installation. Some Valais municipalities occasionally add a flat-rate bonus — we check the framework applicable to your address. For a typical 8 kWp installation, the Pronovo one-off remuneration represents approximately CHF 2,800 to 5,600, to which any applicable municipal or cantonal bonuses are added.

The cantonal Buildings Programme covers: Heat pumps, insulation, windows, solar thermal — not photovoltaics. It is open to owners of primary and secondary residences in Valais, for new installations as well as replacements. A few exceptions exist (complex co-ownerships, protected zones).
