Why it matters
Your electrical system evolves with your energy project
A project combining solar + battery + heat pump + electric vehicle means an electrical system that bears little resemblance to one from twenty years ago. Higher power demand, intelligent control, suitable residual-current protection, integration with the distribution grid.
Our electricians are OIBT-certified (Ordinance on Low-Voltage Electrical Installations). This is the mandatory federal authorisation required to carry out and certify any domestic electrical installation in Switzerland. Without it, your building insurance may refuse coverage in the event of a claim.
What we do
Three areas, one point of contact
SMART CHARGING
Your vehicle, powered
by your sun.
Residential and semi-public wallboxes with intelligent control: your EV charges first on your solar power, for a near-zero marginal cost.
Our electricians hold the mandatory OIBT authorisation. Legally compliant installation from commissioning, building insurance covered, smooth five-yearly ESTI inspection.
Electrical panels
Upgrades to support your new equipment
For installations more than 25-30 years old, replacing the panel is often necessary before adding a heat pump, an EV charging station or a battery. We assess what is in place and replace it with a modern modular panel featuring Type B residual-current protection, OIBT-compliant.
Solar integration
Connecting your photovoltaic system
Inverter, visible grid disconnect, standard-compliant anti-islanding protection, bidirectional meter. We carry out the connections in line with your distributor's requirements (Romande Energie, SIG, Viteos, etc.), and we certify the installation for Pronovo.
Legal compliance
OIBT: a requirement, not an option
In Switzerland, every low-voltage electrical installation must be carried out by a company holding the federal OIBT authorisation. Our electricians hold it. In concrete terms, this means your installation is legally compliant from commissioning, your building insurance covers electrical claims, and the mandatory five-yearly ESTI inspection goes off without a hitch.
Frequently asked questions
EV chargers and panels — what our clients ask
How much does an installed charging station cost?
Residential 11 kW wallbox: typically CHF 2,500 to 4,500 all-inclusive. Three-phase 22 kW wallbox: CHF 3,500 to 6,000. It depends heavily on the distance between the panel and the location.
Are there subsidies for the EV charging station?
More rarely than for solar or heat pumps, but some municipalities offer bonuses (CHF 500 to 1,500). Employers often benefit from tax deductions. We check your canton and your municipality.
Do I need to replace my electrical panel if I install an EV charging station?
Often yes, for older installations. A modern panel with Type B residual-current protection is required for charging stations. We diagnose and recommend whether the replacement is necessary.
Can my charging station charge only from my solar power?
Yes, with a smart wallbox and a control module that detects the photovoltaic surplus. Your EV charges as a priority on your self-produced energy — zero marginal cost. We configure this at installation.
How long does the installation take?
Charging station alone with a compatible existing panel: 0.5 to 1 day. Panel replacement + EV charging station + solar integration: 1 to 2 days. The wiring can be pre-prepared to minimise the outage on the day.
What inspection is there after installation?
Every installation is checked and documented (a measurement report is provided). The five-year ESTI inspection can be carried out by any certified company — you are not locked in.
